For the drivers at Evans European Transport from Grimsby in Lincolnshire in northern England, a Scotland tour involves several days on the road. After all, there is no shortage of restaurants and hotels wanting to be supplied with fresh food. This meant a high-payload 7.5-tonner with a refrigerated body and a sleeper cab was needed. The Canter 7C18D was the solution. Bodybuilder Hatcher Components replaced the second seat row with a full-size bed while Gray & Adams fitted a 5-metre box body with integrated refrigeration unit. This is the set-up the drivers have when they depart from the east coast of England on delivery tours that take them all over the United Kingdom – right up into faraway Scotland.
